Wave Energy in the North Sea

Sustainable River Banks.

River banks are vital to protect the community against flooding but also serve as a habitat for the local nature. Many water and land species can florish and prosper on and around river banks with rich nutrients being constantly supplied by the ever moving water flows. Sometimes the currents and waves are too violent for wild life to establish or for offspring to grow up. Waves also corrode river banks that then need lots of maintenance to keep the land behind it safe. The Slow Mill can generate energy from the waves while protecting river banks that then need less maintenance and create calm area's were wild life can grow safely. When placed at locations that can well be seen by the public, it serves educational purposes as well.
